Building capacity in dissemination and implementation science: a systematic review of the academic literature on teaching and training initiatives
The objective of this systematic review was to identify the type and range of dissemination and implementation (D&I) ‘capacity building initiatives’ (CBIs) discussed and/or appraised in the academic literature. Thirty-one articles with 41 distinct D&I CBIs were identified from 8 countries. Variability was observed in th type and range of D&I training opportunities. This information is useful to consider in efforts to develop future D&I training endeavours.
